5 DAYS MT.KENYA - NAROMORU-NAROMORU ROUTE

Day 1:   Nairobi--Naromoru

Leave Nairobi for Naromoru town for lunch.After lunch ,drive to the youth hostels for the rest of the day at the night acclimatising.

Day 2:   Naromoru-Met station

After breakfast, leave the youth hostel and drive to the main gate.Start ascending the mountain through the rain forest for 10 km to the met station for dinner and overnight.(3 hrs)

Day 3:   Met station-Mackinders hut

After break fast ascend to mackinders camp for dinner and overnight (4-5)hrs.

Day 4:   Mackinders -Met station

Wake up in the morning around 2.30a.m and attempt point lenana(17058ft),Descend down to mackinders camp for breakfast and then descend to met station for dinner and over night .

Day 5:   Met Station - Nairobi

After break fast descend the last bit of the mountain from Met station via Naromoru main gate for a short drive to Naromoru town to catch up transport to Nairobi marking the end of the tour.
